SalesCoach Deployment Guidelines

Updated yesterday

Camera Placement Guidelines

To achieve optimal results, mount the camera:

  • Mount Location: Install the camera on the side of the pay station, angled to capture the rear of vehicles as they pass.

  • Clear View: Ensure there are no obstructions like signage, poles, or equipment blocking the camera’s view.

  • Angle: Adjust so the full rear of the vehicle (including license plate) is clearly visible.

External Mic Placement Guidelines

To achieve optimal results, mount the external mic:

  • Mount Location: Install the mic anywhere near the top of the pay station, as long as it’s not blocked by signage or hardware.

  • Face Forward: Ensure it points toward the customer for clear audio capture.

  • Cable Routing: Keep cables secure and tidy, away from power lines to reduce interference.

External Mic Wiring & Deployment

Refer to the diagram below for connecting an external microphone to your camera system:

Deployment Instructions:

  1. Connect Camera to PoE Switch — Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the camera’s Ethernet port, and the other end into a PoE-enabled port on the PoE switch. This single cable provides both power and network connectivity for the camera.

  2. Connect External Mic to Camera — Plug the microphone’s output cable into the camera’s Audio In connector.
